Local Resources Guidelines

Listing your business in our local resources directory is completely free. We connect local businesses with traveling sports families to help them discover restaurants, hotels, activities, and services in your area.

• Your listing will appear on event pages for tournaments in your city
• No fees, subscriptions, or hidden costs
• You can add a photo, website url, and a description of your business
• Track views, impressions and clicks through your dashboard

A Special Offer is required to be listed in our directory:

• Your Special Offer is shown exclusively to our Pro and Club members
• Clearly state what the offer is and how teams can claim it (e.g., "mention Sports Event Zone" or "show this page")
• Examples: "10% off for tournament families - just mention Sports Event Zone at checkout" or "Free appetizer with main course - show this offer to your server"
• This helps you reach our most engaged users who are actively planning their trips
• Make your offer compelling to drive families to your business

All listings are subject to review and approval before going live:

• Your listing will be submitted with a status of "pending approval"
• Our team will review your listing for compliance with our guidelines
• We reserve the right to reject listings that violate our policies or contain inappropriate content
• You will be notified via email once your listing is approved or rejected
• Most listings are reviewed within 24 hours

Note: Listing approval is at our sole discretion. Common reasons for rejection include inappropriate content, misleading information, or businesses not relevant to traveling sports families.

Your listing will be displayed to users based on:

• Your business location (city matching)
• Events and tournaments happening in your area
• Your business type and relevance to travelers

All Special Offers are also included on city-specific pages, giving your business additional exposure beyond individual event pages.

We do not guarantee a specific number of impressions or clicks. Listing performance varies based on event schedules, user activity, the number of Special Offers in your area, and other factors.

Listings may not contain:

• Illegal products or services
• Discriminatory, hateful, or offensive content
• Misleading or deceptive claims
• Adult content or content inappropriate for general audiences
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Content that violates local, state, or federal laws
• Businesses unrelated to services for traveling families

Listings found to violate these guidelines after approval may be immediately suspended or removed.

We are not responsible for:

• Listing performance or results
• Technical issues that may affect listing delivery
• User interactions or responses to your listing
• Third-party website or service issues

This is a free service provided as-is. We make no guarantees about visibility, traffic, or business outcomes.

Special Offers displayed on our platform are provided by third-party local businesses, not by Sports Event Zone. We do not verify, guarantee, or endorse these offers. Offers may change, expire, or be discontinued at any time without notice to us.

Before relying on any Special Offer, we strongly recommend contacting the business directly to confirm availability, terms, and conditions. Sports Event Zone is not responsible for any Special Offer that is modified, expired, unavailable, or not honored by the business.

If you encounter a Special Offer that was not honored or appears to be inaccurate, please report it to us at support@sportsevent.zone so we can review and, if appropriate, remove the listing from our directory.

We reserve the right to modify these guidelines at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our local resources directory after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified guidelines.
